What if my purchase is out of stock ?

Please note that Backorders will not be held for total values under $100.00 (ex GST).

  • For Account customers, your order will be held in our system and will be shipped as stock becomes available.
  • For Proforma customers, a deposit of 30% of the order value is required to hold the stock required in your order in our system. When the stock is available to complete your order we will contact you to finalise the transaction.


What is CAFE Lighting’s PRICING POLICY ?

All prices are quoted ex warehouse, ex GST.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
The Minimum Order Value is $200.00.


Are prices quoted with FREIGHT included ?

Freight will be charged as additional item on our invoices. CAFE will attempt to provide the best rate, combined with the best service, for deliveries to our customers. In order to minimise freight costs, CAFE strongly recommend pallet deliveries where possible.CAFELighting automatically email a despatch notice with courier details – therefore any futile deliveries are the responsibility of the customer and will be invoiced to your account.   Minimum freight charge is $20.00 (ex GST).

As a guide only, freight will be charged as follows :
For carton deliveries to major cities and centres on the Eastern Seaboard, freight is approximately 13% of invoice value.
For SA, WA, Tas, NT and all other locations, prices are higher.
For all large and fragile items > mirrors, furniture etc> these require specialist carriers and freight is charged accordingly.


What if my purchase is received damaged ?

CAFE Lighting’s RETURN POLICY is as follows…………..

  • Under no circumstances are goods to be returned to CAFE Lighting.

For disposal advice, please contact your Representative or Head Office.

  • Goods valued under $50.00 will not be replaced.  A credit only will be supplied.


CAFE Lighting Pty Ltd accepts full responsibility only for goods received that are either :-

Faulty

  • Defined as those electrical goods that are within the 12month warranty period and have been found not to work due to electrical related issues.

    A credit for these goods will only be accepted for WRITTEN REQUESTS made within 12months from date of invoice.

  • Goods that are of poor workmanship.

    A credit for these goods will only be accepted for WRITTEN REQUESTS made within 14days from date of invoice.

  • NOTE :- All claims must be referenced to CAFE Lighting’s Original Purchasing Invoice


Damaged on Delivery

  • Defined as those goods received damaged in transit via CAFE Lighting’s nominated carrier.

A credit for these goods will only be accepted for WRITTEN REQUESTS made within 14days from date of invoice.

  • Goods collected by your carrier from the CAFE Lighting warehouse are deemed to be received in good order and condition. 
  • No request for credit or replacement of goods damaged in transit will be accepted by CAFE Lighting and should be referred back to your carrier.



Can I apply for Credit Terms with CAFE Lighting ?

CAFE Lighting Pty Ltd is pleased to consider credit to customers who fully complete and sign our CAFE Lighting Credit Application, thereby providing credit reference details that support the potential establishment of a line of credit to agreed levels and payment conditions.
For those businesses new to the market and therefore without a suitable credit history, a credit line may be developed following the payment of the first three (3) invoices by ProForma and the full completion of the Credit Application.
Note that the establishment of a line of credit will always be at the discretion of CAFE Lighting and by no means does completion of the Credit Application guarantee an approval.


Is there anything special I should know about some of CAFE Lighting products?

Many of CAFE Lighting’s new lighting and decorator items are hand-made. The glass and ceramic products in particular are either hand blown or kiln fired. CAFE Lighting would like to advise that under these manufacturing processes imperfections in finishes will be apparent and it is highly likely that no two pieces will be exactly alike.
